MM: What inspired you to start Bear Mountain Butterfly Sanctuary?

A desire to create an enriching, joyful experience for people with physical and emotional challenges.

MM: What do you enjoy most about what you do?

Being a facilitator. Watching people experience wonder while they connect to the beauty of the natural world.

MM: What is the best retail tip you could offer someone else?

Don’t be greedy, especially if your customers are children. Give them something of value for their money, and you will end up making what you need and will feel good about it.

MM: What do you do for fun?

I raise butterflies and exotic frogs!
