A Show-Stopper Irish Shop In West BrightonBy Virginia N. SherrySILive.com

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – WEST BRIGHTON – Patty Curry is blessed with a discerning eye for everything Irish. Her Claddagh Gift Shop on Forest Avenue overflows with an assortment of quality items, from fine china and crystal to classic wool sweaters and newsboy caps – all crafted in Ireland, of course.

Gold and sterling silver jewelry fills a long case, and Celtic-style wedding bands are also on display, with additional designs available by custom-order.

The store attracts customers from all over Staten Island, and offers local shopping at its best: Friendly, well-informed service, prices to fit any pocketbook, and whimsical, as well as elegant, gifts for everyone, from newborns and toddlers to teenagers and grandparents.
