New Anna Griffin Designs from C.R. Gibson Score in Atlanta

Nashville, Tenn. – Don French, president of C.R. Gibson, announced today that new Anna Griffin designs were among the company’s best-selling products at the Atlanta Gift Show earlier this month.

“Anna’s work is rich, textural and beautifully detailed,” he said. “Her designs offer the broad-appeal looks that buyers need and want in a challenging retail climate. These are luxurious, upscale designs with exceptionally high perceived value.”

C.R. Gibson’s new offerings from Anna Griffin include a large photo album and social book collection, as well as patterns for baby and wedding. Like all Anna Griffin designs, they are inspired by antique and European textiles and engravings – and feature an eclectic mix of patterns. All four new collections are exquisitely embellished – and incorporate “the color” for spring: green. Suggested retail prices range from $4 to $40.

Jack and Lulu, Anna Griffin’s first infant collections for C.R. Gibson, were the number-one sellers in Atlanta. Both designs inject beautiful green tones into traditional blue and pink color palettes. Here, Griffin’s signature pattern combinations layer paisley or floral fabrics with dotted Swiss and stripes. The collections are decorated with rickrack, embroidered felt accents, and tipped-on die-cut frames. Even the album interiors incorporate printed pages that provide the look of highly embellished scrapbook papers. Jack is actually a gender-neutral collection in green, blue, and yellow with sweet pea accents. Lulu, in pink and green, has embroidered felt flowers. Both collections include Memory Books, Photo Albums, Brag Books, Baby’s First Year Calendar, and Gift Bags.

Anna Griffin’s latest everyday collection for C.R. Gibson – called Maime – captures the essence of spring with a lush pink and green design. The pink medallion / floral pattern is complimented by a bamboo motif and basketweave fabrics. Pink and white grosgrain ribbons accent most designs, along with bamboo buckles – reminiscent of the bamboo treatments seen on fashion accessories this spring – for authentic tropical appeal. The collection includes Photo Albums, Journal, Address Book, Paper Tableware, Gift Bag, Bridge Score Pads and Tallies, and new Double Deck Playing Cards.

Anna Griffin’s newest wedding collection for C.R. Gibson – called Charlotte – updates a traditional cabbage rose motif by injecting touches of pale pastel green, yellow, pink, and violet. Cream-colored tone-on-tone scrollwork, picot-edged ribbon, and embroidery accents complete the delicate, yet sumptuous design. The collection includes Memory Book, Bound Photo Journal Album, Deluxe Photo Book, Guest Book, Paper Tableware, Gift Bag, and – new to C.R. Gibson – Keepsake Wedding Planner.
