Aurora’s New Dinosaur Plush Roars into 2012

Aurora’s five life like dinosaur designs and three hand puppets join an existing line of over 15 plush dinosaur pieces and puppets for 2012.

“We anticipate the five new, realistic dinosaurs and the newest puppets will be a very big hit with the boys at retail,” says Michael Kessler, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Aurora. “These stunning dinos are sure to be a slam dunk for museums and zoo gift shops. We are also filling a need from our other retail customers who demand more plush that caters specifically to boys.”

The five new dinosaurs include Triceratops (10″), Pterenodon (10″), Stegosaurus (12″), Brachiosaurus (11″) and T-Rex (12″); MSRP: $14 each. The dinosaurs use plastic eyes and their scales are highlighted with a special reflective material, “adding to the overall realistic look of the dinosaurs,” says Kessler. Three new dinosaur hand puppets include Iguanodon, Parasaurolophus and Oviraptor (10″, MSRP: $11). Kessler says, “Puppet play is a fantastic way for parents to engage and delight children and their friends.”
