Christoper Radko Expands Showroom as AmericasMart Continues its Momentum as the Destination for Holiday & Floral

AmericasMart’s Holiday & Floral/Home Décor center, the established destination for gift, home and specialty retailers, is flourishing and gaining momentum with each Market. Contributing to this excitement is the expansion of The Christopher Radko Co., which has been designing and producing fine European glass ornaments for more than a quarter of a century.

The iconic holiday designer will now have 2,533 square feet of showroom space located in Building 1, 16-E-5, 7, 9., and will be open when AmericasMart presents the first global wholesale trade event of 2012: The Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market Jan. 11-18 (Temporaries: Jan. 13-17), with the Atlanta International Area Rug Market featuring the National Oriental Rug Show taking place Jan. 12-15 (Temporaries: Jan. 13-15).

“We at Christopher Radko recognize how essential the AmericasMart is to any company wishing to succeed in the giftware industry: for more than six years and through dozens of fantastic shows, we’ve enjoyed a beautiful home on the 18th floor of Building 1,” Heather Shepardson, CEO of Christopher Radko and Rauch Industries. “When the time came for us to seek a larger showroom for our ever-evolving product lines, we were thrilled to learn that there was space available just two floors down. It’s a perfect fit!”

Spanning five floors in Building 1, Americasmart’s Holiday/Floral & Home Décor space is the largest permanent of product for the entire industry. Because of its growing size and the breadth and depth of product, the product center has also become a platform for manufacturers and designers to launch innovative ideas, fresh lines and new product.

“We’ve worked really hard to make our new home in Atlanta just as warm and welcoming as the old one and I’m looking forward to opening our doors during the January Gift Show,” said Shepardson. “Please stop by and say hello! We’ll be unveiling our 2012 collections of Fine European Glass, vintage-inspired Shiny-Brite, and Home for the Holidays tabletop items as well as a special, newly-expanded line of Celebrations by Radko ornaments and décor created exclusively for Gift Stores.”

Headquartered in Gastonia, N.C., and with offices and showrooms nationwide, Christopher Radko® creates beautiful giftware and home décor that is available for purchase in more than 2,500 stores, including major department stores, Independent gift shops, catalogue retailers and online sites.
