Celebrity Jewelry Designer Launches New Website and Charity Initiatives

Los Angeles, Calif. — Los Angeles based custom jewelry designer, Heather Hyde, is known for creating exquisite hand-made pieces for Hollywood’s A-list celebrities. Committed to using her visibility and artistic talent for charitable causes, Heather launched a new website, through which proceeds are donated to a variety of non-profit organizations.

“I’ll always be passionate about designing jewelry,” says Heather Hyde.

“It is a wonderful creative outlet for me and I love seeing one of my creations on the red carpet or in magazines. What really motivates me, however, is knowing that I’ve made some sort of difference in the world. It is so important to give to those in need, and to help in any way I can in encouraging others to do the same.”

The new website still features Hyde’s stunning jewelry, which is available for purchase. Now, however, Hyde has partnered with non-profit organizations encompassing a variety of important causes. 50% of all the proceeds from the sale of her jewelry will be donated to one of three featured charities on her site. Customers will have the added option to make a donation to any of those charities upon checkout.

The first three organizations to be featured include; Search Dog Foundation, Pajama Program and Childhelp. After donation goals are reached, new charities will be added. Hyde will include links and information for all current and past-featured charities as a resource for customers to get involved further.

It is easy to make a difference, especially when shopping is involved. The cost of sponsoring a dog through the Search Dog Foundation is $10,000. That means if 180 people purchase Hyde’s Lucky Charms “Dog Gone Lucky” necklace for example, a dog would be rescued from a shelter, professionally trained, more than likely save human lives over the course of its career and would be guaranteed to be taken care of for the rest of its life. If two people purchase the Timeless Treasure “Treasure Chest” bracelet, they would have personally made enough of a donation to sponsor an abused child’s birthday party through Childhelp. Or, if just one person purchases the Heavenly Charms “Charming” necklace, they would have given enough for 5 children in need to receive warm pajamas and books through the Pajama Program.
