Dallas Total Home & Gift Market debuts new brands

Dallas Market Center, a leading lifestyle marketplace for retailers and interior designers, announced the addition of trendsetting brands debuting with hundreds of other lines at Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, Jan. 6-12, 2021. The extensive lineup of hot new products and showrooms will premiere at the first market of the year, where buyers will be the first to survey trends and discover profitable goods.

“Dallas continues to lead the way in showcasing the hottest new products and brands,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “During the first market of the year, buyers will see it first and place orders first for on-trend gifts and stylish home decor. Whether retailers need in-stock items now or are planning ahead, we will give them the best opportunity to discover what they need to succeed in the new year.”

Showrooms & Temps

Across the 5 million square foot marketplace of permanent showrooms and Temps, highlights include:

Porch View | WTC 280

Todd Smith and Charlie Groppetti—the visionaries behind farmhouse style—make their global debut of new showroom Porch View. The brand offers home furnishings and accessories in a relaxed, casual aesthetic.

 Barefoot Dreams | WTC 211

A purveyor of ultra-soft blankets, throws, pillows, robes, loungewear, apparel, candles, and accessories, Barefoot Dreams is a favorite among buyers representing five-star resorts, major department stores, and upscale boutiques. New to campus, the latest collection can be shopped at Goetz.

Log Cabin Apothecary | TM 1028, 1034, 2040

It’s impossible not to be drawn to the rugged, artisan appeal of Texas-based Log Cabin Apothecary, a small-batch CBD company specializing in all-natural bath bombs, tinctures, and pain-relieving topical ointments. Travelers in search of medicinal salves and herbal remedies formerly sought help from the owner’s ancestors on the same property, and the brand pays tribute to that heritage. MacKenzie-Childs and Patience Brewster by MacKenzie-Childs | TM 2927

For more than 35 years, talented MacKenzie-Childs artisans and designers have handcrafted ceramic and enamel tableware, furniture, home accessories, and more, with a vibrant, pattern-filled aesthetic that has amassed a cult following.

Ann Gish Luxury Linens | IHDC 1D209

The company’s exquisitely detailed and finely made bed linens are frequently used by leading interior designers, can be found in the homes of numerous celebrities, and have appeared in TV shows and movies, and on Broadway. Practically elegant, they can now be found in Luxe Gift Temps in the Trade Mart in addition to her collection with Global Views.

BrüMate | TM 1860

An insulated drinkware line, BrüMatehas expanded to fill a 1,200-square-foot space in Cliff Price & Company. The company’s mission to “create a world without warm beer, ruined cocktails, and stale wine” translates to insulated wine glasses and bottles; slim and wide can holders; highball and “margtini” glasses; and even an updated spin on the vintage canteen—all in an extensive range of cool colors and patterns.

Teaspressa | WTC 180

This beautifully simplistic line of all-natural, organic teas is a Nordstrom staple and “Shark Tank” veteran. Little wonder: sippers get the best of both words with teas that offer the full-bodied, robust flavor of coffee—and even a comparable caffeine content. Found in a new showroom in Gourmet Market, Teaspressa also has a line of sought-after cocktail and hot cocoa sugar cubes that instantly transform into drinks.

Holiball | Temps, WTC 12-1603

These brightly hued, oversize Christmas ornaments—also seen on “Shark Tank,” where they drew the favor of Mark Cuban—are a stylish alternative to the average inflatable decoration. Lightweight, UV-resistant, and available in multiple colors and sizes, they instantly imbue both interiors and outdoor spaces with holiday cheer.

Safety Protocols

Supporting the comfort, health and safety of all attendees, the market center continues measures that began earlier in the summer and will remain in place for the foreseeable future. Those protocols include mandatory face covering and temperature screening for every person entering the marketplace every day.

Other efforts include low contact entry via the Market FastPass, which saw a dramatic adoption in the summer, as well as enhanced cleaning with hospital grade products, hundreds of hand sanitizing stations, limited food service, no gatherings, and signage for social distancing.

Along with these new steps, there are safety measures that are part of the natural design of the marketplace: open parking, large entryways, quick registration in multiple areas, wide hallways, multiple escalators to each floor, and showrooms with controlled access to allow for the appropriate distance between customers.
