Dogeared Presents Gifts that Gives Back

Beneficiaries include non-profit organizations striving for peace and working to help heal our planet, organizations who provide services for the blind, and breast cancer assistance groups. Each organization receives a set amount from the sale of its dedicated jewel.
This holiday season, Dogeared has again created a special limited edition necklace to benefit One Voice, a Santa Monica based non-profit organization devoted to helping people in need. Their programs range from providing emergency relief services to families in immediate crisis to a scholars program designed to better the quality of people’s lives. Dogeared founder and designer Marcia Maizel-Clarke and her husband, Merlin Clarke have supported One Voice in a variety of capacities for over 20 years.
For this year’s gift-giving season, Dogeared has created a Limited Edition Grateful Heart necklace that features a hand-cast sideways heart charm on an 18″ fine chain. It is presented in a custom gift box with a printed card. 100% of the net proceeds benefit One Voice. SRP: sterling silver – $46, gold-dipped and rose gold-dipped – $52.

We donate 100% of the net profits from this necklace to One Voice, a non-profit helping amazing souls do great things.
New to the line this season is the Trust Braille Cuff. “Trust” is written in Braille with metal studs on a hand-made leather cuff. From each bracelet sold, $10 is donated to non-profits who provide services for the blind. The cuff has an SRP of $132.00.
Dogeared added two new necklaces to its line last year which continue to benefit organizations that are working to heal our world.
Peace on Earth, features a hand-cast earth charm and a peace symbol, and it benefits Pennies for Peace (affiliated with Three Cups of Tea). The Pennies for Peace Program (P4P) educates American children about the world beyond their experiences and how they can make a positive impact on a global scale, one penny at a time. SRP: antiqued sterling silver – $68 and gold-dipped – $78.
What a Wonderful World features a single earth charm. Net profits are donated to Global Green USA (GG USA), the US affiliate of Green Cross International (GCI), a global environmental movement founded by Mikhail Gorbachev in 1993. SRP: antiqued sterling silver on chain is $48 and on waxed cotton is $32. Gold-dipped on chain is $56 and on waxed cotton is $36.
Both come in gold dipped and sterling silver on a presentation card. Both offer a message for peace, hope and healing that is such an important part of the holiday spirit.
Dogeared continues to support Surfaid International in their efforts to improve the health and well-being of precious lives through sales of their Heart Chakra. The pink jade-faceted coin gem hangs delicately from several silk strands on a printed card. Dogeared donates 100% of the net profits. SRP is $36.
Dogeared has long supported efforts to find a cure for breast cancer as well as organizations that help those affected by the disease. The gold-dipped or sterling wishbone and ribbon charms, come on matching chain or on pink silk thread.
