Atanta, GA – July is Independent Retailer Month when shoppers are encouraged to visit independent stores and shops in their respective communities.

There are a lot of reasons why shopping local is important including supporting local traders and suppliers, but did you know that spending $1 at an indie retailer creates $5 to $14 in value within that community? When you spend the same $1 at a national chain store, 80 percent leaves town immediately.
