Find Max the Moose in downtown shop windows
If sports teams can have mascots — the Bulls have Benny, the Sox have Southpaw and North Central College has the Cardinal — our downtown can have one, too.
This holiday season downtown Naperville merchants have unveiled a holiday mascot that is the delight of many — meet Max the Moose, downtown Naperville’s holiday mascot and clever addition this season.
If you wander past Gelati, you may find him sitting in a sea of cocoa dust, in Adagio Teas hidden under a holiday tree, or tucked inside a gift bag in the window of Twist Boutique.
Max, a brown plush moose sitting a plump 15-feet tall with a tartan plaid bow, can be found cleverly disguised in almost 50 shop windows that are dressed up for the holidays.
“We like to use our windows to showcase our businesses,” said Paula Ball from Country Curtains. “And it’s fun to use our own creativity to build a display around a common element.”
