GHTA opens nominations for The Chad Corzine YGE Award

GHTA announced it is now accepting nominations for The Chad Corzine Young Gift & Home Executive (YGE) Award. The industry lost a dear friend to many when Chad Corzine passed away in May. Chad co-founded YGE in 2014 with the intent to give a voice to young industry leaders without a seat at the table.

YGE soon merged with GHTA in 2015 and as a result saw an influx of young executives attending conferences, becoming board members, and becoming vocal leaders in our industry.

Now the YGE name isn’t as recognizable today but without this start the young leaders in our industry may not have the voice they do today to carry us to tomorrow.

The first annual Chad Corzine Young Gift & Home Executive of the Year will honor Chad’s name and recognize an up and coming executive in our industry. The Chad Corzine Young Gift & Home Executive of the Year will be awarded to an individual who demonstrates the following qualities:

• A passion for this industry
• A passion for their business
• One that you recognize as a future leader in this industry
• Under the age of 35

Please return completed nominations by October 25, 2021 to michael@paladone.com and laburns212@gmail.com. Nominees do not need to be a current member of GHTA and may belong to any vendor, rep, or allied group in the industry. All are welcome.

The winner will be announced at the November3/4 GHTA 2021 Conference.
