GIFT SHOP Magazine invites entries for 2008 ‘Ultimate Makeover Contest’

Hanover, Mass. – GIFT SHOP magazine invites entries for its 2008 ‘Ultimate Makeover Contest.’ Gift shop owners and managers across the country are invited to participate for a chance to win a makeover for their store.

GIFT SHOP’s advisory board will pick the winner from all entries received and OneCoast’s vice president of creative, Paul Thompson, will execute the makeover. The winner will be announced online at giftshopmag.com and on GIFT SHOP’s Retail Forum, the end of June.

Patricia Norins, publisher of GIFT SHOP, encourages all gift retailers to participate. “We have always been for and about the gift retailer and this contest is a great opportunity for them to see what a dramatic difference a makeover of their store can make to their bottom line,” Norins said.

To participate, retailers need to submit five photos of their store: four assorted photos of the interior and one of the store exterior by June 1. Images may be emailed to makeover@giftshopmag.com or mailed on a CD to: GIFT SHOP Ultimate Makeover Contest, GIFT SHOP Magazine, 195 Hanover Street, Hanover, MA 02339. Retailers are advised to include: full name, phone number (or e-mail address), and store name in all correspondence.
