IndieMe celebrates successful Virtual Expo

IndieMe Marketplace, has announced its 4th Virtual Expo, which ran Sep. 8-14, 2021, has concluded and the platform is preparing for its 5th Virtual Expo, Feb. 2-8, 2022.

The IndieMe Marketplace has over 23 years in the handcrafted wholesale industry marketing and managing the online platform. In addition, the company has produced over 20 physical trade shows. This Virtual Expo is another option to the traditional trade shows.

“IndieMe created the first handcrafted Virtual show in 2020 to support both the retailer and the artist. As the year 2020 began to unfold, it became noticeably clear that in-person shows would be shutting down and we needed to find a way to replicate that virtually. We believe we have done that with our Virtual Expo. The Virtual Expo continues to grow and we know, when they are successful, our members are successful. Our most recent September 2021 expo grew by 130% from our first expo in June 2020,” Jacqueline Adamany, owner of IndieMe Marketplace explained. “Many of our retailers keep telling us it is ‘just what the industry needed.’ Not only did we shatter an all time company record of orders placed on the marketplace in July 2021, we broke that record in August 2021. September is wrapping up to be another record breaking month.”
