Iota To Unveil 2009 Collection

(Basalt, Colo.) — Iota, a division of C.R. Gibson, is pleased to announce its colorful new collection for 2009, one marked by inventive paper stationery items and new product categories never before offered by this trend-setting design company.

Nine brand new patterns (dressed in a palette of nine brand new colors) debut on iota’s core stationery essentials and gift items including folded notecards, boxed notecard sets, gift wrap, journals, gift tags and notebooks. New formats make a big, bold splash in iota’s 2009 product line, “Cooking With Color” kitchen ensemble items, including paper tableware, all-purpose Kona cotton aprons, plus stylish personal organizational products, a selection of gift bags and more.

Iota’s 2009 product line will debut in January at iota’s permanent showroom in the Atlanta AmericasMart (#1525, Building 2, International Gift Market, January 6-14, 2009), plus other key trade shows around the country. Iota is represented nationally by One Coast/National Division One.

Full pricing and order information is available by request at C.R. Gibson Customer Service 800.243.6004 and website, crgibson.com. Iota’s 2009 wholesale catalogue will be available after January 1, 2009.

New Patterns, New Colors and iota ‘Guest Appearances’
Every year iota introduces nine fresh, new patterns based on a palette of nine colors; this originates with iota’s brand identity, which is named for the ninth letter of the Greek alphabet. From iota’s vice president of design, Kelly Alford, comes an eclectic mix of inspired, playful and sophisticated patterns, each created using a palette of nine vivid, earthy colors from iota’s new “terra” palette. They are: Aster, Bubbles, Galaxies, Glass Blocks, Jester, Lava Lamp, Psychedelic Soldier, Tibetan Silk and Zebra Leaf.

In addition to iota’s official 2009 pattern collection, iota devotees will be thrilled with the return of some of iota’s most popular patterns made-over in new colorways: Betty, Bullseye, Pebbles and Scandia will star on a handful of new products in this season’s line-up.

“The 2009 product line represents a milestone for iota,” says Alford. “In addition to creating nine delicious new patterns and a bold new color palette this season, we’ve thoughtfully added new products to the line—in essence we’ve increased our product offering two-fold.” Continues Alford, “It’s exciting and very satisfying to see more iota designs on more formats; some we’ve been dreaming about for years.”
