It’s Toy Fair Time and it’s Fashion Week at Douglas Company

The designers at Douglas Company are pulling out all the stops this year for Toy Fair. When it comes to fashion and young ladies, the plush toy maker and lifestyle gift creator has its finger directly on the pulse of what’s hip and uber cool.

New Sillo-ettes™ : Wristlets from Douglas Company are called Sillo-ettes™. They were first introduced in June of 2010, and they have been a huge hit ever since. Sillo-ettes™ are the silhouette of an animal shape fashioned into a wristlet purse that swings from the wrist or readily clips on to a larger bag. Each bag is corded on the edges to outline and define the animal’s shape. Sillo-ettes™ will have onlookers talking about their whimsical style and bright colored quilted fabric styles everywhere you go. Owl Blossom, Flicker Bird, Peace Dog, Bubbles Fish, Shelly Turtle, Pink Filly and Dreamy Caravan Elephant are the seven new styles to choose from.

New Sassy Pet Sak Sillos™: Designed for ages 3 and up, Sillos™ are a very unique bag in that they are the silhouette image of the animal they are named after. Each quilted fabric bag is carefully trimmed out in coordinating cording to hold its design shape. These bags really work to carry all those must-have essentials. They are the go-to over-the-shoulder bag at Douglas Company, and there are eight new styles this season, Floral Harvest Bird, Owl Blossom, Rodeo Pink Horse, Dreamy Caravan Elephant, Pink Filly, Moon Flower Butterfly, Hip Happy Chihuahua and Flower Dance Butterfly.

New Furry Couture™: There is something about peace signs and animal prints that make little girls swoon, and Douglas Company is all about making little girls happy, which is why they have included both peace signs and animal print in their four new Furry Couture lines for this season. Douglas’ very fancy, very glam Furry Couture™ collection continues to impress with Duchess Westie and Pippa Golden Retriever, both who boast very cool peace signs on their groovy tie dye colored body of the bag. Rachel Chihuahua and Kira Shih-Tzu are equally stunning in their high sheen animal prints.

New Sassy Pet Saks™: Douglas’ Sassy Pet Saks™ have always kept the fashionistas in perpetual ooooo’s and ahhh’s, and this season’s runway favorites will be doing the same. The little pet carrying saks™ and totes are truly delightful. The new designs include Floral Harvest Tote with Golden Retriever, Pink Filly Tote with White Horse, By the Sea Sak with Cream Lab, Owl Blossom Tote with Owl, Hip Happy Tote with Bichon and Rodeo Pink Tote with horse. Each is delicately detailed with its own splash of citrus hues, polka dot detail, geometric glam and plenty of paisley and floral fun.

Clifford the Big Red Dog’s Fun Fashion Assortment: Douglas Company signed a licensing agreement with Scholastic Media to produce Clifford The Big Red Dog plush products. Along with plush Clifford dogs of all shapes and sizes, Douglas has created a fashion line for Clifford, too! The products include a Clifford Tote, Clifford Sillo, Clifford Sillo-ette, Clifford Head shoulder bag and Clifford hand bag.
