New Artists Add Flair To Leanin’ Tree’s Boxed Christmas Card Line

Boulder, Colo. – Leanin’ Tree’s 2007 line of boxed Christmas cards is loaded with new artists and new designs to generate repeat business for their retailers. Of 324 designs, 166 are new for the year.

New artists Stephanie Stouffer and Laurie Cook add a particular splash of color and style. Stouffer’s wry designs include an impassive cat in Santa attire and a rather pedantic snowman accompanied by his spouse and pitchfork. Laurie Cook offers diverse imagery from a traditional jolly Santa with a green thumb to a playful penguin bearing gifts.

Leanin’ Tree Christmas cards have been an American tradition since 1949. A broad line of boxed Classic cards includes 324 designs with themes for every part of the country. Each box of 10 premium cards includes designed envelopes for extra appeal. Cards are ordered in units of two boxes with a suggested retail price of $9.95. Several display options are available with December dating.

According to an independent retailer survey conducted by Giftbeat, the leading newsletter in the gift industry, Leanin’ Tree is America’s best-selling alternative greeting card company. From their headquarters in Boulder, CO, the company prints all of its cards and envelopes on premium-quality recycled paper using soy-based inks. Leanin’ Tree uses paper that is Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF) from mills that adhere to the Sustainable Forest Initiative.
