Lingerie store aims to ignite Passions
Business is blooming at the island’s latest “one-stop gift shop” Just Roses, according to staff.
The store’s name is perhaps a misnomer for the florist, found in Parliament Street, Hamilton.
Not only does it offer traditional arrangements, but flowers of every description and a variety of gifts, too.
Those looking for ideas to celebrate that special moment can choose from chocolates, candles, balloons and teddy bears, or pick a more adult gift.
The store has its own lingerie section and an ‘adults only’ room.
Lisa Holroyd, chief operations officer of Designer Flowers, said: “We wanted to offer a one-stop shop for people wanting to send special items.
“As well as flowers, they can add gifts such as lingerie, chocolates and toys and put the packages together themselves.”
Designer Flowers bought Just Roses in November. The long-standing business used to be located in Paget Plaza.
Miss Holroyd said: “The lease was up, so we had to move.
