Local Photographer Goes Retail
Crossroads Gifts now offering decor by acclaimed local photographer. “With stunning, one of a kind photos of architecture, nature and the word around us, Barbra O’Boyle has made gift giving with a personal touch a snap,” said Judy Cooley, owner of Crossroads Gifts located at 588 Main St., Somers, who is now offering O’Boyle’s line of artwork to her clientele.
As on of the original innovators of Letter Art O’Boyle has been photographing letters for the past sixe years and recently appeared on Better Connecticut featuring her unique gifts. Her company and website, LetterPerfectNames.com is now presenting this alphabet photography through many venues including Cooley’s gifts shop.
“Gimme a window, gimme a door handle, gimme a drainpipe, what does that spell? Anything you want to say,” joked O’Boyle, as she stands back to take another look at the black and white photo collage she compiled of parts of the New England states to spell out “McGill.”
