Loralei Cove a gift Mecca Ray CarterBy Ray CarterBrentwoodPress.com

There is a store in Brentwood where one can find unique gifts and fine decorator items like those found in Sebastopol, Carmel, Sausalito or Laguna Beach. In fact, with the opening of Loralei Cove last November in the Shops at Fairview, East County residents can shop for fine art by local artists Bill Weber, Sue Espy and Jenny Floravita.

But don’t let yourself be fooled by the fact that Loralei Cove offers marvelous one-of-a-kind art. While the store carries lots of items that might be considered moderately pricey, owners Carolyn and William Godfrey have made a point of stocking an eclectic mix of merchandise in all price ranges. You’ll find Corinthian Bells wind chimes, the Elegant Baby gift line, jewelry by Sue Espy starting at $20 and fine gold jewelry, now 40 percent off for Valentine’s Day.

Loralei Cove also offers cards and graphics by Deb Janis of Antioch, Mark Roberts’ collectible Fairies, popular Jim Shore Heartwood Creek items, a line of Arbonne natural body butters and skin products (soon to be in stock), collectible frogs, fashion statement caps and much more.
