Rightside Design Studio joins C&F Enterprises

The C&F Enterprises family of brands acquired Rightside Design Studio.

Rightside Design’s line of coastal home décor complements C&F’s existing market presence in the coastal gift and décor market and will offer customers an additional aesthetic in pillows, table linens and other decorative accessories, according to C&F.

“Rightside Design’s elegant aesthetic adds additional depth and variety to our already expansive array of coastal designs for the home,” said Colleen Hall, vice president of marketing for C&F. “We believe this line will not only appeal to our current customer base but also introduce new customers to the C&F brands. We look forward to helping tell Rightside Design’s story.”

Rightside Design has been designing small batch limited-run products that aim to connect their customers’ homes to the natural world around them as a family-run business for 12 years.

Lynn McKernan will continue leading the brand and design process for the line and will work alongside current C&F business and operations teams to expand the line’s market presence and facilitate growth. Of note is the selection of outdoor pillows currently offered by Rightside Design, which C&F said strategically aligns with its current expansion initiative in the outdoor living category.

“Strategically, adding our ever-expanding brand of highly artistic home decor products to the C&F portfolio at this time is a natural next step to capitalize on the growth we’ve achieved in the past several years,” said McKernan, founder of Rightside Design. “Combining forces with the similarly design-focused and customer-centric C&F team, with its keen awareness of market trends and track record successes, will undoubtedly serve to propel the Rightside Design product line to unprecedented growth levels.”

C&F will integrate Rightside Design into its infrastructure and leverage the existing C&F sales force. Rightside Design will sit alongside C&F Home and Beachcomber’s Coastal Living in showrooms starting this summer.

“We are confident that this collaboration will produce incredible products that will truly capture the spirit of coastal living,” said Jimmy Fang, executive vice president of C&F.
