Sassy Pet Sak Sillo Maintain Popularity at Douglas Company

Sillos are the go-to over-the-shoulder bag at Douglas Company. It’s so very true little girls like style too, and Douglas is giving it to them tenfold. Sassy Pet Sak Sillos™ have maintained their character and popularity over the past two years, and now designers at the plush toy maker and lifestyle gift company Douglas are introducing eight new styles for 2012. The new Sillos™ will debut at the 2012 Winter Gift and Toy Shows.

Designed for ages 3 and up, Sillos™ are a very unique bag in that they are the silhouette image of the animal they are named after. Each quilted fabric bag is carefully trimmed out in coordinating cording to hold its design shape. These bags really work to carry all those must-have essentials. The bag opens and closes with a safe plastic zipper and has a sturdy over-the-shoulder strap for carrying. SRP: $23 each The eight newest styles are as follows:

Floral Harvest Bird is shaped like a bird that measure 9.5″ by 9.5″. It’s fashioned from a pink on pink polka dot and aqua blue floral fabric. Its details are intricate and fancy fun.

Owl Blossom is shaped like and owl and is 7.5″ wide by 11″ tall. This owl is pretty in shades of purple and lime green. Its eyes are delicately detailed and will keep people guessing.

Rodeo Pink Horse is shaped like a pony and is 10″ wide by 10″ tall. This pretty pony is detailed in a painted pony print accented by ruffled pink bandana fabric. It is giddy-up sweet and sure to be a rodeo pleaser.

Dreamy Caravan Elephant is shaped like a cute little elephant that is 10″ wide by 10″ tall. He has a face you can’t forget fashioned from elephant print cotton fabric in shades of pink, gray and cream on a white background. He has a big pink floppy ear embellished with a flower and a knotted pindot pink tail.

Pink Filly is shaped like a filly and is 10″ wide by 10″ tall and is the belle of the ball in pony printed fabric in hues of chocolate, pink and purple. Her gingham checked lavender mane and braided tail ensures detail to the 10″ degree.

Moon Flower Butterfly is shaped like a butterfly that is 10″ wide by 9 inches tall. A mix of raspberry pinks and lemon yellows, this butterfly is sure to take flight.

Hip Happy Chihuahua is totally cool and shaped like a Chihuahua at 10.5″ wide by 10.5″ tall decked out in black and white checked fabric sprinkled with bright paisley. Of course, a groovy embroidered peace sign pendant hangs from his color while black and white pindot fabric makes up his feet and tail.

Flower Dance Butterfly is shaped like a butterfly and is 10″ wide by 9″ tall. The choice for this little beauty is a large purple floral print accented by lavender velvet and a gemstone.

“What’s nice about the Sillos™ is that there is a Sillo-ette that coordinates with most of them,” said Erika Radich, Marketing Manager, Douglas Company. “They are stylishly fun and different than the traditional over-the-shoulder bag yet fully functional.”
