Anna+Pookie is an online store, which is committed to helping people of all ages “express and celebrate” in a variety of ways that represents specific interests, cultures and style. This retailer offers a variety of party supplies to match any occasion. 

Andrea Lyons from Anna+Pookie detailed how this business has adjusted to the COVID-19 pandemic and the current retail environment. 

How have you transitioned your selling strategy during the COVID-19 pandemic?

We’ve simply dialed up our newsletter presence and we’ve implemented an ambassador program seeking inspiring leaders and storytellers who are passionate about our brand.

What special services, such as curbside pickup or delivery, have you implemented?

As an online provider we’ve always had a string online presence. Through the pandemic if a person requests a special delivery we can handle delivery through courier or other types of special delivery.

How are you reaching out to customers during this crisis?

We always stayed connected to our customers via Instagram, Facebook and our news letter. We also have a blog where we feature stories that resonate with our followers during these new uncharted times.

Is your business offering any new programs to assist others in the community at this time?

As a minority, female owned company we’re always highlighted and featured other female/minority owned businesses on both our Instagram stories and feed.

Have you increased your online retail presence to adjust to social distancing?

To let more people know we’re here to serve a need we’ve adjusted our social media presence to more aggressively identify influencers that can help spread the word about our products.

Are you creating any grab-and-go type solutions to help sell through existing inventory and to provide merchandise customers need in today’s environment?

Our Mini Party Bundle is a party in a box favorite! We offer all three of our Collections in a convenient box with all the essential items needed to throw an at home party for a special little girl.
