Sign of the Arrow Hosts Volunteer Appreciation Event
Ladue, MO – To thank volunteers for their dedication and hard work, Sign of the Arrow’s Board of Directors hosted a Volunteer Appreciation event May 2nd at the shop. Sign of the Arrow is a non-profit specialty and gift shop founded by the St. Louis Alumnae Club of Pi Beta Phi. Volunteers were thanked for the 21,000+ hours of service they provided to the shop over the last year.
Along with the small staff, 80+ community volunteers help run the shop. Allproceeds from Sign of the Arrow benefit area agencies. Since its inception, Sign of the Arrow has donated more than $3.3 million to 150+ local charities. Shoppers truly impact the lives of St. Louisans by shopping at Sign of the Arrow.
“Our Volunteer Appreciation event is a small way of saying thank you for everything they do,” remarked Mary Mullendore, President, Sign of the Arrow. “Volunteers fill positions on the sales floor, but they also serve in a variety of other capacities, ranging from fiber, canvas, and gift buyers to class coordinator and electronic communications manager.”
