The Halloween & Party Expo announces expanded product categories for 2018 show

As the Halloween season wraps up, planning for the Halloween & Party Expo has kicked into high-gear. The event, known for being the most comprehensive resource in North America for Halloween & Party, is pleased to announce strong exhibitor support for the 2018 show, being held January 12-15 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. This year’s show floor will be host to new and expanded product categories as well as introduce a number of exhibitors who are new to the event.

“Our goal is to continue to raise the bar with the selection of product and services and furthermore add the product categories our buyers have told us are most important for their business,” said Mike Carlucci, Senior Vice President of the Halloween & Party Expo. “This year we’ve put a strong focus on working with companies in the top growing segments of makeup, props and décor to ensure their representation on the show floor. We hope these additions allow retailers to find new and unique products that will help set them apart from their competition.”

In the makeup sector, over 30 companies will be represented in 2018 including Mehron, Wolfe FX, Graftobian Make-up, Paint Glow, Kryolan, Cinema Secrets, Moon Glow and more. In addition, the Halloween & Party Expo is excited to announce the all new Artist Battleground competition, where makeup brands will be put to the test to transform models based on a mystery theme. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to get an up close look at the products as well as application techniques. The competition will feature celebrity judges Kyle Vest of Blast Effects and Skin Wars fan favorite and Nick Wolfe of Evil Twin FX.

The show floor will also host a number of new props and décor companies as part of HAuNTcon, the Haunted Attraction Tradeshow & Convention. With this new co-location, retailers who traditionally attend the Halloween & Party Expo will now have access to both events to allow expanded opportunities to see and source one of a kind products as well as gain new merchandising ideas.

These companies join 350 exhibitors showcasing hundreds of the newest products and trends for the industry. To view the complete exhibitor line-up and to register to attend, visit halloweenpartyexpo.com.
