The Chicago Market Announces Its Partnership With Traditional Home Magazine for Designer Day

Chicago, IL – The Chicago Market: Living and Giving® is excited to partner with Traditional Home magazine to bring Market attendees a day of design inspiration. Monday, July 26 will be dedicated to all things design, as The Chicago Market invites interior designers and high-end specialty retailers to shop its designer friendly resources, including new-to-Market products in the Temporary Suites HOME section and in select showrooms.

Interior Designers and high-end specialty retailers are encouraged to attend Monday’s lunch presentation entitled Traditional Now. Krissa Rossbund, senior design and style editor, Traditional Home magazine and Frank Ponterio, interior designer, Frank Ponterio Design will offer their insights on what “traditional” means in 2010. Rossbund and Ponterio will discuss how Traditional Home has redefined what traditional means now.

Presentation attendees are invited to stay for a dessert and champagne reception hosted in the Temporaries HOME section. The reception will provide an opportunity for showroom principals, exhibiters, designers and retailers to network with Traditional Home’s style editor, Krissa Rossbund and Frank Ponterio, while sourcing product.

While at Market, attendees are encouraged to visit both the Temporaries HOME section, which will feature select showrooms exhibiting in the Home section as well as experience new to market resources. Designers and retailers can also visit their favorite showrooms for designer friendly product lines showcased during Market. A product display highlighting products ranging from traditional to modern to trendy will be available within the Temporary Suites Home section to help stimulate inspiration and provide a resource list of where to find these products within the permanent showrooms and within the Home section.
