A New Grassroots Business Initiative: ‘Buy Local’
Stoneham, MA – Wicked Local, the network of GateHouse Media New England’s more than 100 daily and weekly newspapers – including the Stoneham Sun – and more than 160 local and regional websites, has launched a grass roots initiative to better support local businesses in the community.
The Buy Local program is designed to remind residents to invest in their community by investing in the local businesses.
“These businesses make up the fabric of their town. We know that consumers can have a major impact on maintaining the quality of life in their communities by supporting local businesses,” said Sean Burke, Gatehouse Media New England president and group publisher.
