Authorities arrested and charged four beachwear store owners with distribution and trafficking of counterfeit merchandise.Agents say they seized more than a half-million dollars in counterfeit goods along North Ocean Boulevard Wednesday.For the second time in a year, agents swept through several beachwear stores and cleaned house.Myrtle Beach police partnered with Secretary of State agents and cleared out more than $500,000 in knock-off goods from 5 beachwear stores.The stores named in the raid are Dead Head Shop, Sunset Jewelry and the backroom of Sunset Jewelry, Secret Gift Shop, and Exotic Body Shop.All five beachwear stores are located along North Ocean Boulevard from 4th Avenue through 12th Avenue.The Secretary of State’s office says the counterfeit items will remain in storage while the Police Department awaits a court order to destroy them.
