Polar Bottle announces Veterans Day Benefit for Wounded Warrior Project

Polar Bottle will honor Veterans Day throughout November this year, with a month-long fundraising campaign benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) — a national nonprofit that provides injured veterans with free recovery programs and services.

For every USA Flag and State Flag bottle sold on its website during November, Polar Bottle will donate $1 to support the WWP’s numerous free programs and services for veterans, caregivers and their families.

Polar Bottle has been manufacturing its popular insulated water bottles in Boulder, Colorado since 1994. The company has kept its operations stateside — with parts sourced from fellow US manufacturers — in large part to support American workers. As Polar Bottle Sales Director Phil Bash explained, supporting veterans was a natural extension of this commitment.

“We are proud to sell a product that directly supports American workers and their families,” Bash said. “With this campaign we can take this a step further — because in the end, no one has worked harder for this country than veterans and their family members.”

According to the Wounded Warriors Project, more than 52,000 servicemen and women have been injured in recent military conflicts. In addition to the physical wounds, it is estimated as many as 400,000 service members live with invisible wounds of war, including combat-related stress, major depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

By addressing the physical, mental and long-term financial well-being of veterans, WWP aims to reverse this unfortunate legacy and foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in US history.

The Polar Bottle fundraising initiative runs from November 1 through 30. Customers can also donate directly by visiting the Polar Bottle WWP fundraising page.
