Ramblin’ Rose lands in Norwood
While the economy is the reason many small businesses have closed shop, it is the very reason Cleo Banks opened hers.
At the end of July, Banks opened her flower and gift store Ramblin’ Rose with the community economy in mind.
“I want it to be affordable for the working person,” she said.
“Times are hard and I want people to be able to buy a gift for their mother, sister or whoever.”
Located on Grand Avenue, across from the Village Center Cleaners, Ramblin’ Rose not only has fresh floral arrangements, but handcrafted jewelry, house plants, pictures and home decorating items as well.
Much of the shop consists of local artist’s work such as original jewelry by Annie Ray, Deb Stueber’s stained glass creations and Centerbury Original cards by Shirley Miller of Nucla.
