City Shows Small Businesses Where To Find Assistance

There is help for small businesses ranging from financial support to marketing assistance and business planning right here in Glenn County and neighboring Butte County.
Orland’s second Business Assistance Workshop attracted a small group of business people Tuesday to hear about the myriad of services provided by local agencies in Willows, Orland and Chico.
Five speakers presented information about loan opportunities, tech support and consulting services.
They included representatives from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Small Business and Industry loan division; Glenn County Human Resource Agency; Northeastern California Small Business Development Center at Butte College; SCORE and CSU, Chico’s Center for Business Development.
