Dallas Design Week to feature Taste of Lightovation

Dallas Market Center, an open-daily design center shared the Taste of Lightovation, the special residential lighting event for the interior design community, will be held during Dallas Design Week, April 15–18, 2019.

On Wednesday, April 17 guests are invited for a complimentary lunch in the Trade Mart grand pavilion. This will be followed by an open house of 20 participating showrooms on the Trade Mart third and fourth floors and in the World Trade Center. Guided tours will be available for five showrooms: Eurofase, Hammerton, Progress Lighting, Swarovski, and Quoizel.

A reception in The SMART Center (Trade Mart 4826) will celebrate the debut of the annual issue of Lighting magazine from the American Lighting Association in partnership with Better Homes & Gardens Special Interest Media. During the reception a drawing will be held for $15,000 in product credit from the five showrooms on the guided tour. Following the reception, the celebration and inspiration continues with hospitality in all participating showrooms through 5:30 p.m.

“Taste of Lightovation is the perfect opportunity for designers to see select showrooms from the largest residential lighting marketplace in North America,” says Cindy Morris, Dallas Market president and CEO.

Participating showrooms include: Eurofase, Hammerton, Progress Lighting, Quoizel, Swarovski, Aero Pure Fans, ARTcraft, Avenue Lighting, Big Ass Fans, Crystorama, CWI Lighting, Dale Tiffany, Eglo, Elegant Lighting, ELK Lighting, Golden Lighting, Hudson Valley Lighting Group (Hudson Valley Lighting, Corbett Lighting, CSL, and Mitzi), Kichler, PLC Lighting, Star Fans, and Troy Lighting.

Dallas Design Week will also feature a series of events and seminars on the theme of Design Intelligence including Dine + Design on Tuesday, April 16, featuring industry experts Gary Inman and Donna Vining on the topic of Creating Beautiful Designs While Crafting a Successful Business. Carson Kressley will present the keynote address that will be followed by a meet and greet cocktail hour.
