Debbie Bianco-Higgins used to be a sales rep for major accessory lines and always wanted to open her own boutique. “Having worked with so many business owners over the years, I could see how satisfying it was for them and how connected they were to their community. I knew that one day I wanted to feel the same way,” says Bianco-Higgins. In December of 2008, that journey began when she opened The Pink Chalet in the Dr. Phillips area of Orlando.
The Pink Chalet is a lifestyle store with a diverse selection of merchandise at all price points. With free gift-wrapping, personal shopping and delivery services, The Pink Chalet is a neighborhood store and often partners with local organizations and schools for community fundraising efforts. The baby and kid departments are high-growth areas and are slated for expansion in 2013.
