Store is one-stop shop for dog, cat lovers
All About Dogs & Cats is a supplier of pet food, equipment, toys and treats, as well as a large selection of gift items and services for dogs and cats.
“We try to specialize in quality dog and cat food … the high-end brands that are hard to find and are more nutritional than just your average food that you can pick up in a grocery or feed store,” said Addington.
Grooming is available, and a pet photographer is available by appointment.
Treats in the “deli” include no-grain and others for allergic pets. There are dozens of treats made for specific purposes — for example, small soft treats that can be swallowed quickly to reward dogs while training “so they won’t forget what they’re being trained for,” Addington said.
Gifts include mugs, figurines, cookie cutters, Christmas decorations, calendars, T-shirts, purses, picture frames and home décor.
Raised dog food bowl holders for large breeds and carpet covered steps — to aid arthritic or small animals to get up on beds or furniture — are examples of items made by local people and sold at the store.
