Ambiente features Design Plus exhibition
(FRANKFURT, Germany) — Authentic design, ideas that work and products that meet ecological standards but still look good — at Ambiente in Frankfurt from Feb. 13-17 2009, trade buyers from all over the world will search for the best products for their discerning customers. And one of the first places visited by dealers interested in design is the Design Plus exhibition in the foyer between Halls 5.1/6.1 where they can be sure of finding a professional selection of new products distinguished by that decisive plus in design.
The Design Plus Award is given for products that branch out in new creative directions. An inter-disciplinary jury of experts evaluates the entries according to the following criteria: design quality, utility value, technical and ecological quality and overall concept. The award-winning products are presented in the exhibition at Ambiente and in the Design Plus catalogue. Practical for all visitors to the fair is the fact that all products come from Ambiente exhibitors and may not have been on the market for more than two years. Thus, Design Plus guarantees not only an up-to-the-minute display of modern design but also that visitors can go to the manufacturers’ exhibition stands and order the products they want there and then.
