Atlanta Market launches winter 2024 buying event

Atlanta Market is ready to welcome buyers from across the globe to this winter’s gift and home buying event, offering new and expanded discovery opportunities, resources from more than 6,000 product lines, and a packed schedule of education, events and amenities, Jan. 16-22 at AmericasMart Atlanta.

“The possibilities for commerce, community and connection are endless at Atlanta Market this winter,” said Bob Maricich, CEO of ANDMORE. “With comprehensive programming augmenting top-of-line resource discovery at Atlanta Market, America’s largest gift and home buying event is set to satisfy.”

New and expanded resources

Atlanta Market’s permanent showrooms and temporary exhibits grow in winter 2024 with new, expanded and relocated gift and home resources and an expansion of casual furniture and outdoor accessory showrooms following the successful debut of Casual Market Atlanta at AmericasMart Atlanta in Summer 2023.

Atlanta Market’s 30 temporary exhibit categories present more than 3,000 lines in nine exhibit halls across AmericasMart’s three buildings. Among updates for winter 2024 is the reimagining of gift and home temporaries, as some six categories relocate, bringing 1,400 temporary exhibitors across nine floors of Buildings 2 and 3. Notable changes include relocation of the Home Accents & Home Furnishings and Fine Linens & Home Textiles to Building 2, which consolidates all home décor exhibitors together on Floor 2; and concentration of the Market’s four housewares and specialty food categories – Gourmet; Gourmet LUXE; Tabletop & Entertaining; and Tabletop LUXE – on Building 2, Floor 3.

Atlanta Market’s 1,000-plus permanent showroom portfolio covers 31 floors across the AmericasMart campus. The winter 2024 buying event features a total of 65 new, expanded and relocated showrooms.

Thirty-seven updates among 700 gift showrooms on 19 floors in Buildings 1, 2 and 3 offer new resources in general gift, gourmet and housewares, tabletop, seasonal/holiday outdoor living, children’s and more. In addition to previously announced updates, winter 2024 brings eight new showrooms to Market: Fig Design Group (personal accessories and tabletop); GCA (seasonal décor); Golden Echo USA (holiday décor); Isun Candles, Fragrances & Accessories – ColorVera Ltd. (candles and home fragrance); Luxe Light Décor (home lighting accents); MPG Planters (garden accessories); P. Graham Dunn (home décor, gifts and art); and RainCaper (travel accessories and gifts for home). Additionally, Best of Show (general gift and accessories) expands, and The Whitehurst Co. (seasonal décor) relocates.

More than 300 home furnishings showrooms presented on 12 floors in Building 1 include some 28 new, expanded and relocated accent furniture, décor, lighting, outdoor living, rug, textile and wall art brands. As previously announced, 15 brand new showrooms augment AmericasMart’s casual furniture collection.

Events and amenities

Atlanta Market couples industry-leading sourcing with five days of programming, including keynotes, cooking demonstrations, tours and networking events.

The full schedule includes five educational and business-oriented seminars, three cooking demonstrations in the JURA Gourmet Demonstration Kitchen, three keynote events on the Building 3 Atrium stage, three tours highlighting Market must-sees and the beloved Market Kickoff Party, benefiting Gift for Life and World Central Kitchen. Market continues to be a must-visit for interior designers with experiences like the dedicated designer workspace, networking and events, including a new collaboration and private mixer with Soho House.

On-campus amenities aim to add to the community and excitement of Atlanta Market. Branded photo ops in all three buildings and product displays inspire sourcing and social media innovation. Market amenities continue the celebration with daily happy hours, complimentary amenities, afternoon music and more. Atlanta Market provides hotel and airport shuttles, a comprehensive hotel block, best-price parking options and free buyer parking.

@Market App

Following a successful launch in summer 2023, ANDMORE’s @Market App brings more features to winter 2024, designed to bring ease and convenience at Atlanta Market.

The newest version of the @Market App, available now for both Android and iOS users, offers guest access for all attendees, featuring wayfinder navigation, brand directory and links to resources on the Market website.

Features available for logged-in buyers include those features plus the popular Scan & Go QR code for badge pickup, photos and notes to document market finds and a market planner to favorite and organize showroom and booth visits. After market, buyers will receive a market recap summarizing their activity. Onsite “Appbassadors” are available to provide hands-on assistance, and the ANDMORE Innovation Lab (Building 1, Floor 9) is available for all buyers and sellers to ask questions about the app, provide feedback and learn more about digital tools while enjoying refreshments.

Other Atlanta Market planning tools include the Atlanta Market Buyer’s Guide and AtlantaMarket.com, which features an exhibitor directory, event calendars, travel information, registration and more. Market Snapshot showcases new and innovative products on the Atlanta Market social media pages (@AmericasMartATL).

For Winter 2024 Atlanta Market, showrooms are open Tuesday, Jan. 16 – Monday, Jan. 22, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and temporary exhibits are open Wednesday, Jan. 17 – Saturday, Jan. 20, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Sunday, Jan. 21, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
