Gamewright’s Forbidden Island Brings Home Mensa Gold
Newton, MA – For the past 16 years, producing award-winning family games has been the mission of leading game manufacturer Gamewright. Forbidden Island, a new family adventure game by renowned cooperative game designer Matt Leacock, recently won a prestigiousMensa Select® seal at American Mensa’s 2010 Mind Games competition that took place recently in San Diego, CA. This is the first award Forbidden Island has received since its release this year, and one of the most coveted awards in the game industry.
In Forbidden Island, players work together to capture four sacred treasures from the ruins of an undiscovered paradise. The object is to collect the treasures and escape before the island sinks into the watery abyss. Forbidden Island is available at stores nationwide.
