Las Vegas Design Center webinar explores residential performance fabrics

International Market Centers (IMC) announced today that the March installment of Las Vegas Design Center’s (LVDC) monthly “First Friday” webinar series will address the “ins and outs” of performance fabrics. Participants in the free March 5 session will receive 0.1 CEU credits.

“Performance fabrics are a critical component, especially in extreme outdoor climates like Las Vegas and the desert southwest,” said Cain Brodie, general manager of LVDC. “The lines continue to blur between outdoor and indoor materials and this webinar will provide interior designers with a great opportunity to learn about the innovations and options available in the performance category.”

The March webinar, titled InsideOut Performance Fabrics: The Ins and Outs of Performance, explores the history and development of performance fabrics in the residential market, the definition of a performance fabric and how to make the right product choice for clients. The webinar will be presented by Ashley Earle, outreach manager for InsideOut Performance Fabrics, an all-in-one performance fabric created to withstand inside and outside elements.

Earle is an InsideOut Performance Fabric Specialist with Valdese Weavers, the top decorative fabric supplier in the USA and Canada. In this capacity, Earle travels around the country giving presentations and educational demonstrations about performance fabrics to retailers, dealers, and furniture manufacturers.

The session is from 10 to 11 a.m. (PT) on Friday, March 5. The next First Friday session will be on Friday, April 2.

Las Vegas Design Center is located at World Market Center Las Vegas on the first two floors of Building A and offers interior designers and other members of the trade year-round access to a comprehensive selection of the industry’s finest product lines.
