Studio M launches new in-house sales team

Studio M, a leading provider of artful home and garden products, announced changes to its wholesale sales model. The company has created a new in-house sales team with the goal of providing best-in-class service to its independent retailer customers.

With changes to their product development strategy and a growing number of unique categories, Studio M is making this shift to meet the evolving needs of their business. “This new model will allow for a closer relationship between our in-house team and our retailers,” said Studio M’s Executive VP of Sales, Tammy Hickel. “With a singular focus on Studio M, our team of in-house sales advisors will be well equipped to help our retailers grow their business with the variety of products we have to offer.”

Studio M aims to put retailers first with the new sales model. “We’ve always felt we had a close relationship with our retailers, so this feels like a natural transition for us. We’re confident this new sales model is the best way we can serve our retailers going forward,” said Curt Todd, Studio M’s CEO.

The launch of an in-house sales team brings a natural end to Studio M’s 6+ year partnership with OneCoast, a nationwide sales and marketing agency. According to Studio M’s President, Michael Todd, “The OneCoast team has been such a joy to work with through the years. They are one of the best in the industry, and we can’t thank them enough for representing Studio M with such care and integrity.”

OneCoast will continue to represent Studio M through February 28th. Studio M’s new sales team is in place and ready to begin serving Studio M retailers starting March 1st.

Founded in 1989 in St. Louis, Studio M is a provider of nature-inspired home and garden products featuring some of the nation’s top licensed artists. The company’s offering includes good-humored gifts, decorative garden décor, and innovative concepts like its patented Art Poles garden posts.
